- maximum operating pressure 22 bar abs
- medium: Demineralized Water ( SED)+ primary coolant + Nitrogen
- rupture disks diameter DN 700, piping dimension 711x14
- material X2CrNi Mo 17-12-2 (1.4404 ) dle EN 10028-7, obsah Co max 0,2%
- severe accident: It is calculated that in the Pressurizer Relief Tank the temperature will rise from 224°C to 750°C in about 4 hours. It is thus reguired that the Pressurizer Relief Tank (including the inlet nozzle, discharge ramp rupture disk discharge nozzles) keeps its structural and pressure boundary integrity during 4 hours with a temperature transient from 224°c to 750°C, with a pressure comprised between 1 and 5 bar g.
- The steam condensation is not expected to exceed the rupture disk pressure setpoint of 20,9 bar differential between inside and outside of the tank The rupture disk shall not have a setpoint that excceds 20,9 bar differential under any circumstance. 19 bar differential then shall serve as the rupture disk nominal setpoint with rupture tolerance to ensure the 20,9 bar differential critera is not exceeded (19+10%=20,9). Furthermore, to avoid inadvertend rupture during periodic testing of safety valves,the rupture disks shall not rupture at a pressure less than 17 bar differential (19-10%=17,1)
